About the project

Call Button is a short film by Rhona Rees, in collaboration with The Wives Entertainment. Stuck in a care home and unable to help herself, an elderly mother is treated as a nuisance by her daughter. They wake up the morning after a visit to the care home to discover that their bodies have swapped, leading to eye-opening and emotional realisations by the entire family.

The film’s atmosphere is simultaneously minimal while feeling dreamlike, with a strong dose of social critique and raw emotion.
